Travel has Changed.
Cities and countries worldwide are rethinking their role in tourism and the relationship between land, locals, and the almighty tourism dollar. We, as travellers, have changed. We have changed how we travel, where we travel, and, most importantly, why we travel.
Everyone has a travel wishlist; whether it is a small town from your childhood with the best playground you have ever seen or a long list of iconic landmarks from famous movies. Each of us has a dream destination for a holiday.

The benefits of travel are exponential in both personal and community growth. When you travel, you learn about the place, the people, the culture, the food, and the environment. The more you learn, the more you want to see and share with others. It helps others to learn with you. But it also comes at a price. Without a connection with our travel, we lose the connection with the place. We miss out on empathy and the world of travel itself.
Let’s Travel Better Together
Bring Back Postcards
Pick up a postcard and meet me there. Whether it’s a quick stopover or a longer visit, this series of articles highlights my favourite locations worldwide. It’s a great place to gain inspiration for your own journey.
Travel with Kids
For those travelling with kids, it is always an adventure! We have travelled near and far with our kids ever since birth. From Backpack Fairytales to their own almost-solo dream holiday, there is always more to learn.
Learn from Life
Whether solo-travelling or with your tribe, every journey adds a new page to my lesson book. Join me for cooking lessons (with a dash of history), packing tips, or self-guided walking tours. This is where we make travel better.
